Mahjong 101 Lessons
Mahjong 101 is your foundation class and the perfect place to begin your Mahjong journey. We’ll cover the essentials, but not the full spectrum of the game—so Mahjong 102 builds on 101 and completes your learning experience. Please book Mahjong 102 when you book Mahjong 101—your experience won’t be complete without it. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident, comfortable, and excited to play. I provide everything you need for class—you just need an NMJL card (available for purchase if you don’t have one yet).
Classes are $50/per person/lesson.
Mahjong 102 Lessons
Mahjong 102 is the perfect continuation of your Mahjong journey and builds directly on what you learned in Mahjong 101. In this class, we’ll deepen your understanding of the game, connect the pieces, and help everything start to click so you can play with more confidence and flow. This class completes the learning experience that begins in 101. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, capable, and excited to gather around the table and play. As always, I provide everything you need for class—just bring your NMJL card.
Classes are $50/per person/lesson.
Open Play
Open play is exactly what it sounds like — arrive, connect and play. We gather regularly throughout the month for a few relaxed hours of tiles and good company. It's the perfect way to practice your game, meet fellow players, and enjoy Mahjong together- the Heirloom way.

Each class is a fully guided, hands-on experience. I provide all mats, racks, tiles, and teaching materials—you simply show up and learn. You’ll be taught step-by-step in a relaxed, social setting where confidence builds quickly and play begins right away. You will need a current National Mahjong League Card.

I offer a two-part series: Mahjong 101 and Mahjong 102.
101 is your foundation, and 102 builds on those skills. For the full experience—and to truly feel confident playing—I strongly recommend taking both. -
Due to limited seating and the intimate nature of classes, all bookings are final. If you’re unable to attend, I’m happy to help you transfer your spot to another available class when possible with advance notice

Not at all. Most students are brand new! My teaching style is warm, clear, and encouraging. You’ll learn alongside others at the same level, and I’ll be there every step of the way to guide you.
